Set in an inner city martial arts studio, this contained piece combines martial arts spectacle with the American romantic musical for a visually spectacular, theatrically satisfying show about love, self- discovery and ultimately presents the option of non-violence and loving acceptance in an often hostile and difficult world. 

Utilizing only three sets, and including a full catalogue of original songs, this project can be built out with a strong, small cast in a black box with minimal accompaniment to powerful dramatic effect, or (as originally conceived) fill a proscenium theater with action, movement and acrobatic, three-dimensional choreography that draws from the worlds of hip-hop, modern stunt-dance, martial arts demonstrations of athleticism and combat across a bright and gritty graffiti backdrop of inner city Los Angeles and the contrasting cleanliness of a beloved master’s training Studio.
